Shaw Technologies Achieves ISO 9001 Certification (30-Oct-09)

On Tuesday 13th October, 2009 Shaw Technologies became an ISO 9001 registered company.  This is a prestigious and sought after award that is increasingly being demanded by customers from their suppliers.

Although introduced many years ago, only some 5% of British businesses have been successful in gaining ISO certification.  ISO 9001 is recognised in over 150 countries worldwide and is a valuable aid for breaking into overseas markets.

Recent surveys reveal that almost 80% of businesses sought ISO 9001 Certification because of their need to increase or maintain their market share.

Achieving this certification makes a positive statement to prospective customers about our level of systems management and the importance we place on meeting our customers’ needs.
